A few years back we got hooked up with a great cause and a great event. It’s the annual Brewer’s Ball, and it’s held in the jaw-dropping National Building Museum. The cause is the fight against cystic fibrosis, a horrible respiratory illness that makes it very difficult to breathe.
We’re happy to provide transportation for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Brewer’s Ball, and out of that relationship comes an opportunity for our customers! They’ve given us a few extra tickets this year, which we’ll happily give to three contest winners.

Here’s the deal: Between now and February 8th, when you book and complete a move with My Truck Buddy in that time-frame, we’ll enter your name into the contest. My wife and I went to the Brewer’s Ball last two years ago, along with David, MTB’s general manager, Jimmy, who came up with our First Principles, and some other friends. (Seeing David in a suit was a trip). The venue…I hate to fall back on cliche, but…it was magical. I’m not just talking about the wonderousness of finding fountains of beer and wine wherever you turn, but the whole thing, the atmosphere, the music, the friends…
Buddy Mike, David the GM, some idiot, and Jimmy. I can assure you – the placement of my beer glass is entirely unintentional. No, really. Sigh.
Anyway, it was pretty cool.
The good news is that even if you don’t win the contest, you still get the 5-star moving services of one of the DC area’s best companies. And speaking of the odds, this time of year is very slow, so the odds of winning are MUCH better than, say, in July. (Fewer contestants, hence, this promotion…)
